John Hagelin Nears Matching Funds Qualification

We send our deepest thanks to all of you who responded to our recent news flash about federal matching funds by contributing to the Hagelin 2000 campaign. As we explained, the Hagelin campaign needs to reach a qualifying target of $5000 (in donations of $250 or less) in each of 20 states before NLP presidential candidate Dr. John Hagelin can begin to receive matching funds from the U.S. government. These matching funds will provide critical support for our upcoming media blitz, which will put Dr. Hagelin on national television through November 2000.

Thanks to your quick action and generous support, we have now crossed the $5000 threshold in ten states--California, Florida, Iowa, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New York, North Carolina, Texas, and Virginia. (However, in Florida, Maryland, Massachusetts, New York, Texas, and Virginia, we still need more funds to provide a "buffer zone" in case some donations are disqualified.)
